It usually occurs in the cleft right at the top portion of our buttocks. A pilonidal cyst most commonly comprises hair, dirt, and debris. It may cause unbearable pain and can also often become infected. In case it does become infected, it may start to ooze out pus and blood with a foul odor.
Pilonidal Sinus is a condition that more commonly affects men as compared to women and young adults are much more vulnerable to it. Furthermore it is even more prominent in individuals who tend to sit a lot such as the workaholics and the cab drivers.
